1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bujit, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Bujit is a personal budget tracking application that allows users to log expenses via voice input, receipt scanning, and manual entry. The App uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to process voice commands, scan receipts, and provide spending insights.

3. Account and Authentication

Bujit uses anonymous authentication via Firebase. No personal information such as name, email, or phone number is required to use the App. Your data is stored locally on your device.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Bujit may offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed via Apple's App Store and processed by RevenueCat.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change

5. AI Features and Data Processing

When you use voice input, receipt scanning, or the AI chat assistant, relevant data is sent to Google's Gemini API through our secure proxy server. This data is:

• Transmitted securely over HTTPS
• Not stored on our servers beyond the duration of the API request
• Subject to Google's AI data processing terms
• Used solely to provide the requested service

6. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, use it for fraudulent purposes, or exceed reasonable usage limits.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and features of Bujit are the intellectual property of Bujit AI. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Bujit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated expense categorization, receipt scanning results, or financial insights. The App is not a substitute for professional financial advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bujit AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.
